About, Generations Empowerment Enterprises

Vision Statement: To be a leading global educational institution that educates, trains, and coaches family enterprises, students, and community leaders in practical principles to balance family traditions, relationships, business, and ownership needs in a safe learning environment.

Mission Statement: To partner with educational institutions, nonprofit organizations, businesses, and experienced professionals with an EdTech platform by providing our trusted online adult education courses to families and students worldwide.

HISTORY

In 2008, Dr. Phillip Porter, Dr. Janice Porter, Ron Porter, MBA, Rev. Dr. James Porter, Sr., and Barbara Jean Lambert-Porter founded Generations United, LLC). In 2017, we changed our name to Generations Empowerment Enterprises, LLC in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

In 2017, Generations Empowerment Enterprises, LLC, moved its headquarters from Minnesota to McKinney, Texas.

In 2016, Phillip Porter and Dr. Janice Porter wrote and published their second book "The Power In A Vision Driven Family" along with their workbook "The Power In A Vision Driven Family Workbook". Their books were so successful, they begin teaching family leadership, success, and wealth workshops throughout the United States.

In 2020, during the Covid-19 Pandemic, they were forced to transition from doing in-person workshops to online webinars. The webinars were so successful they had international students. From this success, they launched the Global Family Success Institute (GFSI). The Global Family Success Institute is a division of Generations Empowerment Enterprises, LLC. (GEE). Under the Global Family Success Institute, they developed the following curriculum:

During this period, they became Adjunct Professors at West Coast Bible College & Seminary.

In 2021, Drs. Phillip & Janice Porter presented at the National Association of African American Studies & Affiliates Virtual National Conference. Topic: 10 Best Practices of Successful Families.

In 2022, their curriculum was approved by West Coast Bible College & Seminary (WCBCS). Some of their courses can also be taken for college credit. Established a partnership with West Coast Bible College & Seminary and launched The Porter Family School of Continuing Education at WCBCS.
