Heirs Property Probate Readiness Course!

This course is for anyone trying to resolve their own family’s heirs’ property challenges, advocates and heirs' property coaches who want to know how they can support members of their local and national community who are facing heirs' property challenges.
This course identifies documents the family will need, and it provides a step-by-step guide on how to attain these documents while preparing to meet with their probate attorney. This is an intergenerational family success course that encourages multiple generations to take this course together to first resolve their heir’s property problem as a family. Second, to gain knowledge to implement a family success system thus preventing this problem from happening again in their family. The platform will offer easy navigation and is available on demand 24/7/365 from your computer or mobile device.
Per the United States Department of Agriculture, heirs’ property is family-owned land that is jointly owned by descendants of a deceased person whose estate did not clear probate. The descendants, or heirs, have the right to use the property, but they do not have a clear or marketable title to the property since the estate issues remain unresolved. Heirs' property is most predominant among African American landholders, contributing to land loss from 4.7 million to 16 million acres over the last hundred years. It is also an issue for Latinx families in the southwest, Indigenous families on reservations, and low-income families in Appalachia.
